IN CELEBRATION OF A BEAUTIFUL LIFE
Victoria Wissell
07 August 1957 – 9th November 2022
She was a lover of music, theatre, singing, playing the guitar, flute and in her later years she learnt the cello.
A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a trusted friend.
Victoria was born on the 7th of August 1957 in Dandenong Hospital. The second child and eldest daughter to Lorraine and Anthony Di Stefano and sibling to Michael, Leanne and Mark, Victoria grew up catholic in a family full of love, music and care for each other. She married Gary at the age of 20 and went on to have four beautiful children, Shae, Laura, Tori and James and six wonderful grandchildren, Jarvis, Felix, Jackson, Heidi, Levi and Ava. And she was a great friend and support to Mark, Jan, Deon and Daniel.
Victoria was very creative and loved the arts including making her own clothes, pottery, and tapestry. Victoria was dedicated to education and the pursuit of learning both for herself and for all around her and was a significant contributor to the communities in which she lived and worked.
Victoria had a wicked sense of humour and loved to gather her friends and family for a wine or two. She was kind and generous, and by nature a spirited woman, with an amazing sense of adventure and wasn’t afraid to try new things. She was also a bit of a rev head who liked fast cars and enjoyed riding her jet ski on the lake at Loch Sport.
In memory of Victoria
The family would like to invite guests to make a contribution to the remembrance gardens to be established in Victoria’s name at her late schools.
